Flaming June the perfect time to Bee Outdoors
June marks the meteorological beginning of the long awaited summer, and judging by the weather in most parts of the country in these last few days, it will hopefully, be a month of warm sunny days which will encourage everyone to pack up the picnic and get out doors. Across the country there are events and locations opening their doors with a vast range of things to do and see.
The 7-9 June see the Retrofestival at the Newark showground being a celebration of everything Retro from the 1920’s to the 1980’s while on the 8-12 June Royal Windsor Horse show brings the worlds best horses and riders tgether to take part in a whole range of events and competitions. The Durhan Regatta opens its doors over the weekend of the 8th-9th with shows and stands bringing together a spectacular racing , classic cars and a whole variety of things to entertain and thrill everyone. 15th-16th June the Wings and Wheels festival brings together fascinating displays of aircraft and cars at Dunsford Park in Surrey. On the 15th the Grassington Festival in Skipton is an annual multi arts and music festival which has been providing a lively and enriching experience in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. 18th-19th June the Royal Cheshire County show opens it s doors at Clay House Farm in Knutsford. In Broadstairs the colourful Dickens Festival turns the clock back in celebration of the great authors works with plays, music and entertainment from the time. For those who love to see the spectacle of flight the Weston Air Festival will thrill and entertain over the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd as the Red Arrows and others fill the skies over Weston super Mare.
